Cultivating Worship

This fall Asherah Camp invites members and non-members alike to join us for our monthly workshop series on Aleister Crowley's "De Cultu" (Latin: “On Training”). Taken from Liber Aleph: The Book of Wisdom or Folly, the contents of this chapter deal specifically with the methods by which Thelemites might cultivate a daily regimen of mystical and magical practices.

October: The Miracle of the Mass

Eucharist ceremonies have for millennia played a critical role in Christian religious traditions across the globe. Described by Aleister Crowley as O.T.O.'s "central ceremony of its public and private celebration," The Gnostic Mass and its eucharist component represent the keystone of Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica. Equal parts presentation and workshop, this represents an important step for our body towards performing regular Masses.
